From a Tomboy to A Girlie Girl, There Has to Be Better Qualities...What Are They?

I've grewn up as a tomboy even though I had two little sister and a mother that became Girlie Girls.

I never liked wanting to become Girlie because of the high egotistical manners that they only cared about themselves instead of others. Also using So much $$$ just over clothes Brands and $$$ perfumes and make up Sounded pointless to me and still does. ---I actually look younger than both my sisters on account of rarely wearing makeup cause makeup does more damage than good.

After I got out of high school and now College, I don't think it's a good quality for a women of my age to have the image and appearance of a tomboy. Sure one could dress the pretty part but one needs to act the part also. Cause even though I've tried people still say my tomboy still shows threw.

I've looked up previous questions describing a Girlie Girl but I've seen those as pointless qualities for their just actions instead of behaviors of personalities. There also just a description of those annoying popular girls in high school (that as my sisters) I sow more as a lower quality.

Keep in mind that their are those unpopular girls in high school that weren't tomboy yet weren't popular neither. Appearing girlie and their characteristics of Good Person behaviors (being the one that is most becoming to others) is what I'd be more interested in becoming.

***There has to be more to being Girlie than just caring about the way You look. If not, then that just sounds pathetically controlled by marketing.****

PLEASE DON'T MENTION ONE OF THE FOLLOWING IN DESCRIBING GIRLIE GIRL

Far less brilliant, original, and versatile than the Greeks, the Romans were content to borrow most of their culture from them. They gave it their own practical bent, however, translating it into terms more suitable for universal use. They were able to transmit it to the barbaric West and thereby to lay the foundations of modern Europe. Then they systematized education, bequeathing the seven liberal arts to the Middle Ages. They adapted Greek philosophy to daily needs, applying it to government and recasting it into a philosophy of life available to men without high gifts. They developed the type of cultivated gentleman—the type of Cicero, Horace, and Pliny the Younger, who were less spontaneous and exciting than the Greeks but more moderate, urbane and sensible.... The practical sense of the Romans also led to some original contributions, notably their monumental architecture. While the Greeks stuck to their simple post and lintel, the Romans exploited the possibilities of the arch, the dome, and the vault to erect baths, palaces, amphitheaters, and government buildings.... Their architecture was more humanistic than the Greek in that it contributed much more to civic life.
