Princess Protection Program is the latest offering of Disney Original Movie who has been giving its audience numerous block-buster telefilm (movies for TV) such as High School Musical, Camp Rock, Go Figure, Pixel Perfect and many others since 1983. Princess Protection Program is directed by Allison Liddi.

The Princess Protection Program features the two uprising teenage Disney stars Demi Lovato and Selena Gomez on the leading role. Demi and Selena, who are best friends in real life, play the role of royal Princess Rosalinda and tomboy Carter Mason who became best friends in the movie.
In the movie Demi Lovato plays the role Princess Rosalinda (which later became Rossie). When a dictator invades their country Princess Rosalinda was put into the custody of Princess Protection Program , a special forces that specializes in protecting princesses around the world. For her security, the agent named Mason hides the Princess in his home in Wisconsin. Princess Rosalinda became Rosie, and with the help of his Agent Mason's daughter Carter, they taught Princess Rosalinda how behave like an ordinary normal American teenager.
On the other hand Selena Gomez plays the role of Carter Mason, the daughter of Agent Mason. Carter is an insecure tomboy, who works at a local bait shop after school. Carter dreams of going to the school dance with her crush, Donny, the school hunk. Rosie quickly becomes popular at school which Carter must learn to accept but the two also form a close bond as Carter helps Rosie transform into a normal teenager and Rosie shows Carter how to find the princess within herself.
